Sounds good isn't it? I would not do it, but knowing that some people probably would, i decided to look little deeper in this "new" way to protect your skin from dangerous UV Rays.
So, what is it anyways? From what i learned it is a dermatological innovation in form of a Pill called Heliocare. Just take one before you hit the road and you are ready to go. It will protect you from damaging UV rays. Even though they say that the investment is wothwhile i look at it little differenly simply because whatever we take in form of a Pill have side effects and this one is not an exception to this rule.
Heliocare, made from extract derived from a type of fern. Studies have shown that this extract makes skin less susceptible to sunburn, and that it exhibits the anti-inflammatory, free radical-fighting properties of other antioxidants.
The word Little or Less makes me think twice before taking this "anti-sun" pill in my blood streem. I would like to make sure that my skin is protected, and not just protected - well protected and not only that, i want to have my skin moisturized, fed with vitamins and minerals which the Heliocore "anti - sun Pill" can not provide.
I also want to have 100% natural sunblock, moisturization, vitamines and minerals also 100% natural, like Ovante Natural Sunscreen for instance, which is all natural product. We are talking about our skin for God Sake.
So, i don't know, but it is just my personal opinion. The pill also does not tell what level of UV protection one can get? And the price!!! Around $60.00!!
I think i would rather buy a sunscreen on form of a topical cream for $20.00 and have nice dinner for two
and still have some $$ left.
