    Eat this not That.

    Technorati Profile

"Eat this not That" is the book written by David Zinchenko. Dr. Zinchenko has brought up some very good advices in diffenets foods we eat in his book . Eventhough it is been well known for ages that eating, for example bread and meat together is not healthy, some people still don't know it and continue eating hamburgers and other bad combinations.

I had just watched the show on Oprah with David Zinchenko who was speaking about his book "Eat this not That". Listening to Mr.Zinchenko's advices, brought me to some interesting conclusions, which i am sure is well known one too, but i am sure some of you don't know about it as well.

You see, our skin is the biggest organ. Most of us, do want to have our skin look good: less wrinkles, no dark spots and so on. If we look good, we feel good. Therefore it is very important to "feed" our skin with good and healthy food as well , or i shall say - with good nutritions such as vitamins, minerals and so on. We don't want chemicals on our skin!

Eventhough the book itself gives us many different ways and suggestions on how to minimize or eliminate some foods from daily diet, it does not draw the line between unhealthy diet and acne, rosacea or other skin problems. Believe it or not, but our skin needs good nutritions as well as our body does. Therefore, what we put on our skin is very important. It is even more important when it come to acne prone skin, or rosacea sensitive skin to treat it with natural ingredients and not chemicals.

Therefore, same as in "Eat this not That" suggestions to always read the nutrition list of foods we eat, it is as important to read the ingredient list of all skin care products before using them. For acne, rosacea and other skin disorders - chemicals and antibiotics can do more harm than good. Even though they might have some positive effects in acne treatments, chemicals are bad in a long run. Therefore they must be avoided. Rosacea or acne prone skin is very sensitive to chemicals and antibiotics. Un order to achieve positive results in acne treatment, one should use anti-acne creams with natural ingredients. Ovante skin care products were made with unique technology and have only natural ingredients, minerals and vitamins. So, before you pick the acne treatment, make shure to check the list of ingredients, because they are as important as food we eat.
