  • Cysts - new study on how to prevent and avoid severe acne.

Cysts and nodules are considered severe acne. Even though, there are many known ways and advices of how to avoid the development of severe acne, in some cases it is impossible to avoid unavoidable. There are few reasons for blackheads or whiteheads to transform into severe acne (cysts and nodules).

It seems that in this day and age, everyone who goes through the battle with acne must be very familiar with everything what the acne brings: acne development, why acne starts, who gets the acne and why and so on. Usually, people with "experience", who have had acne for a while are the most knowledgeable.

But, according to a new study, conducted by Swiss dermatologists in several high schools, many teens who are just developing first signs of acne or once who have had acne for a while, don't even know the basics, such as the acne daily regiment or how to even properly wash and clean the acne prone skin and so on.

The conclusion of the study, which was published in one of the Swiss magazines, defines the definite connection between lock of basic knowledge and the development of severe acne cases (cysts, nodules). There is no doubts in their mind, concluded the scientists, that many cases of severe acnee caused by poor or zero knowledge of the basics. The development of many severe acne cases could be avoided and prevented had there been the basic knowledge.

To follow up on this new study, we would like to ad, that the acne education and the acne daily regiment are as important as doing the home work. One with acne, must use every possible resource and bit of information to learn and self educate in order to prevent and avoid the development of cysts and nodules.

    Acne scar removal at home.

Acne is the problem of the majority of teenagers and adults. For some people, first signs of acne may quickly appear for no reason, only as a few pimples and just as quickly, and not noticeably disappear. For other teens and adults, acne may appear and stay for many years. In any event, the first signs of the appearance of acne rash or just one or two pimples must not be ignored.

Immediate prevention and home treatment of fist signs of acne will help you to avoid many unpleasant side effects that acne can leave in the future. There are many suggestions available on how to squeeze a pimple but one must never follow them as they lead to post acne scars.

Treating acne scars can be as difficult and as frustrating as fighting acne. There are not many effective anti - scar treatments available. Once, that are available most often have side effects, risky and extremely expensive in general. Some topical creams for post acne scars have chemicals and should not be used as post acne scar treatments usually quite a lengthy process.

Even though, the acne scars are the most difficult side effect to be treated, there are some natural topical treatments available. Natural creams usually don't have the side effects as they consist of vitamins, minerals and oils. The latest discovery in post acne scars treatment is topical use of natural form of vitamin C (The Ascorbic acid). The natural, anti-acne cream Melt is one of them. Check the list of the natural ingredients in this anti-scar product.

The mechanism, of how the vitamin C is going to help to treat the acne scars is simple. When natural cream MELT is applied on to the scar, more collagen will start forming, normal collagen that is often found tethering scars will be replaced with normal collagen and the scars will become less and less noticeable. Vitamin C is important for producing collagen in the body and the collagen is the connective tissue found in skin and bones.

Is it as Proactive as they say it is?

Acne is a problem of most teenagers. Some get only one or two pimples, others fight with acne for years. The Proactive solution is well known brand among acne sufferers here in the US as well as in some other countries.

The Benzoyl peroxide or BP is also well known chemical which has been used for years to treat acne. Such brands as Proactive solution, Dan's acne cream, Basiron and some others use the BP in its ingredients as active anti acne agent.

Looking at the history of Benzoyl peroxide as anti acne ingredient, one must think that since BP has been around for so many years, it should be the altimate acne treatment. May be so, but in contrary to this popular belief, most of the anti-acne products are nothing but highly advertised commertials.

Infortunately, as much as most of us hate acne commertials, they still appear on Tv or in the newspapers, magazines and so on. So, how can we figure out which acne treatment is more efective? The answer is simple. If we want beautiful and clear skin, we should not use the chemicals such as BP, accutane and others.

No matter what anyone says, the chemicals and antibiotics are harsh not only when they are taken oraly but topical applications are even worse for the skin as well. Products with Benzoyl perixide or accutane may work for for short time but after acne bacteria developes resistance to those drugs, they will stop working.

It is good idea, while choosing the right acne product to check the list of the ingredients. There are so many acne products out there, with high efficacy and without any harsh chemicals.
