Cortizone 10 for acne is a risky adventure.
Cortizone 10 has been used to treat various skin conditions such as skin rush, burns, redness, swelling, itching, and irritation. Cortisone comes in diffent forms and methods of treatments: Cortisone shot, ointment, Cortizone spray and Cortizone cream.
There are many positive and negative responses from people who
used Cortizone.
Not too long ago, some people started using the Cortizone 10 as acne medication to get help
with treatment of acne cysts. Since treatment of acne has always been one of my favorite things,
i decided to do little research on positive and negative effects of using cortisone as acne treatment.
I went through a lot of different web sites, articles about cortizone 10 and red many
of different responses. Two things are obvious and no one can deny them.
First, the cortizone is a steroid. If you need to know more, it is not just a steroid,
it is a corticosteroid. There is a difference. Hydrocortizone acetate is the active ingredient of cotizone 10.
All corticosteroids are known for its fast and positive effects they provide, when used as medications.
Therefore, many users of this drug admitÓ fast, almost immediate relief from itching and burning.
There are many negative responses from people who use cortizone. As effective as the corticosteroids are,
their effects will last short period of time and will ware out after week or two. Longer use of coticosteroids
and Cortizone 10 will lead to severe side effects. Therefore, all treatmens with steroids may last only as prescribed.
No longer. If you are going to continue using Cortizone 10 longer than it is suggested, the immunosuppressive properties
of this drug will affect the immune system of your skin. leaving it open for development of other skin disorders.
It is important to avoid the use of corticosteroids as much as possible. Skin rush,
acne or cysts can be treated with natural products. There is no reason why, one must use harsh corticosteroids to treat
a skin rush, cists or acne. Avoiding the use of chemicals in general will keep your skin healthy.

Head and Shoulders for bacne.
Shampoo head and shoulders had been discussed in many acne blogs and acne forums.
There are so many controversial statements about use of head and shoulders shampoo as
possible way to treat bacne. I personally could understand people with acne, as myself fought
them for quite some time, that any positive feed back from other users
gives hope and confidence.
But, reviewing some of the latest posts from people who used the shampoo for bacne,
i came to undecided dilemma. First of all, i personally have never tried to use the head
and shoulder to fight my bacne so i don't really know how true most of the statements are.
But the temptation to find out, made me pick up and go. I went to the store today, just
out of curiosity, to find out more about head and shoulders.
There i was, reading labels and comparing the ingredients. After a while, i realized
that Head and Shoulders would not be my choice as a shampoo. Why? I don't like and i don't
believe in chemicals. And trust me, the head and shoulders shampoo has plenty of them,
100% chemicals to be precise. Not a single vitamin or mineral. I started wondering, what
can really help (if it ever does) to fight acne as some people say.
The Zinc pyrithione is the only one out of long list of ingredients which may in fact,
have positive effect on acne. The purpose of the Pyrithione Zink does not stop with only
anti-dandruff properties. Apparently, this ingredient also has antibacterial properties
and often used in treatments of psoriasis, eczema, ringworm, fungus, athletes foot, dry skin
and even atypical dermatitis.
So, there is a possibility that head and shoulders shampoo can be positively used as anti-acne
treatment. However, one must not forget that besides the Pyrithione Zink, the shampoo has more
than 20 other ingredients (chemicals, not natural ingredients), which can irritate the skin and worsen your acne. Among those are ammonium
laureth sulfate, benzyl alcohol, sodium chloride, sodium xelenesulfonat, cetil alcohol and more.

Acne cysts how long do they last.
Severe acne known as nodules and cysts do not appear overnight. It takes time and
"effort" for bacteria to grow to that point. Just another day i wrote a short article
about possible ways to avoid the transition from pa pules and pustules into cysts and
nodules. There are several well known ways to do so, and we are not going to repeat them
again. Even though, there are about 5 - 15% of people with acne who develop severe acne,
there is no reason why everybody else must not follow the daily regiment.
The daily regiment for acne prone skin is not difficult task to follow. As soon as you do
it once or twice, it will become your normal daily routine as brushing teeth, for example.
You don't brush it, you will get bad breath, cavity and so on. Same rule must apply to the
daily regiment for acne prone skin.
Going back to where i started from. The development of cysts and nodules and how long can they last. There is no definite time for acne cysts to go
away. One thing is well known though, that if you don't help then to go away, they won't.
The acne cysts, same as acne, caused by growing and increasingly multiplying bacteria. If
acne bacteria grows, any bacteria, than there is a reason why it grows. One must act to
stop it from growing unless it is a good bacteria.
Many times, the bad decision in choosing acne medication causes development of
cysts and nodules. The medication you are using to treat acne plays very crucial role.
If medication fails, which happens a lot, you must stop using it and try some thing else.
There are many bad advises given by manufacturers of acne products, to continue using their acne medication even if it stop helping.
To effectively treat sever acne, consider using topical acne products with natural
ingredients. There are many of them available. Why natural? Because they don't do
any harm as harsh chemicals and antibiotics do. Before starting the medication though, choose
3 - 5 different once, check and compare their ingredients and only then make your choice. Follow this simple rule: If you can not read the ingredients list, then don't apply it on your skin. Think about the side effects you can get from using antibiotics. Some are so severe that may even destroy your skins immune system. So, go natural. You know what they say: Better safe than sorry. This saying, very much applies in acne treatment.
