can i use demodex shampo for children 2 years old and 4 years old? i suspect my children are affected as well. how about the cream? is it safe for children and babies? if not, do you have any recommendation treating demodex for toddler and child? thank you.


you can use the shampoo for children with one time application (not TWO as it is recommended for adults). The face demodex in children is very rare so you should have the demodex test fist to make sure the children have the demodex on their face. If children have the demodex, the cream can be used with one time application (before bed time).

here in australia is very difficult to find dermatologist who is doing demodex test. So i am not sure if my children have demodex on their face. However since i have it, i am worry they also have it as it is hardly contagious. My 2 years old has larger pores on his forehead, lose some of his eyelashes, itchy scalp and eyes. Also my 4 years old has itchiness on his back, which i can see his pores are very big. Would it be ok if i just put the cream on their face and back? Please give me some advice, doctor in australia dont take it seriously when it comes to demodex. I my self has experienced how bad it can damaged my face, especially the larger pores, sting bite feeling, wrinkle. Why demodex face is rare in children? Demodex mites can be transmitted from parents to children. You can use our cream Demodexin, use it twice a day, apply very thin layer on to the area affected by demodex but not into or around the eyes. Also, you need to change bed sheets and pillows as often as possible, look into the children diet, if possible - take some vitamin C to build up stronger immune system.
