  • Accutane and antibiotics in acne treatment - good or bad.

Accutane and most of products with benzoyl peroxide or other antibiotics in its ingredients, must be used very cautiously. Checking incoming mail, caught my attention that there are more and more letters from people who were trying to find explanations of why antibiotics are more harmful in acne treatment. And if antibiotics are so harmful, then why antibiotics are prescribed by physicians in treatment of acne, rosacea and other skin disorders.

Actually, the answers to these questions are not as difficult to find as one might think. In order to find the aswer, we must first check the ingredients list and the pissible side effects of antibiotics such as accutane or others, massively over-prescribed in the US. Also, the good understanding of what our skin realy needs for its normal life, will help to understand why acne products with all natural ingredients are better and more effective than the chemical once.

As it does not sound right, but one of the main disadvantages of the use of antibiotics in the acne treatment, that antibiotics kill bacteria. At first glance, it seems that there is nothing wrong with killind the acne bacteria, because it is exactly what we need. It is the bacteria that multiply in the hair follicle leads to the formation of more severe acne stages such as: papule, pustule, nodules, cysts and abscesses. Sure, it seems that the only antibiotics can cope with this task - killing the acne bacteria. However, in reality, it does not look like we were told by doctors.

The point is, that antibiotics kill both bad and good bacteria that are needed for normal functioning of our skin. In order for our skin to stays clear and healthy, it requires a healthy internal bacterial flora, vitamins, minerals. And in order to even better understanding of how destructive the use of antibiotics are, we need to see and compare the ingredients of products containing chemicals and antibiotics, with the list of ingredients in acne products containing all natural ingredients.

Most if not all acne products containing chemicals and antibiotics have not a single vitamin or mineral in its ingredients. Therefore it is up to you as to what to use to treat acne or rosacea, But you need to remember few things, antibiotics if taken oraly create digestive problems, and if applied in forms of jells or creams - weaken or even destroy your immune system.
