Chamomile Makes A Quick & Easy Skin Treatment

If you are just starting to familiarize yourself with herbs and
would like to add a versatile herb to your cabinet, then you may
want to take a look at chamomile as your first choice.
Chamomile, a flower in the daisy family, is one of the oldest
and most favorite of all herbs dating back to ancient
Egyptians. It’s both a pretty flower and an ancient healer.
This delicate flower is dried and drunk as a tea or used as an
extract topically. Here in the United States, oral chamomile is
used primarily for relaxation and sleep.
This herb is most often associated with tea or herbal remedies.
The flowers of the herb chamomile are infused in hot water make
a soothing tea. It is probably the most widely used relaxing
nervine herb in the western world. An anti-inflammatory and
anti spasmodic herb, chamomile helps to calm down spasms of the
digestive tract in conditions of cramping and indigestion.
This herb has also been said to rejuvenate the skin and hair.
To make a quick and easy tea facials simply apply a paste made
from one teaspoon of fine cornmeal mixed with cooled chamomile
tea to the face, let dry, then gently rub off. For skin
irritation and sunburn, make a strong tea of chamomile and
apply at least three times a day.
For application to the skin, chamomile tea is prepared, cooled
and applied as often as needed. This very gentle skin tonic is
ideal to replenish and enrich dry or sensitive skin. It is a
bactericidal, anti-itching, soothing antiseptic, refresher to
the skin and reduces swelling. Using chamomile as an external
wash in strong infusion, or decoction, or as part of a hot
compress, the herb can also soothe burns and scalds, skin
rashes, and sores. This herbal flower makes a fantastic skin
    care treatment.
Chamomile is an herb that people have used for centuries.
Chamomile is one of the most popular herbs in the world,
available in a variety of forms. It is one of the most favored
medicinal plants in the world. For this reason alone, Chamomile
    is a very desirable plant.

    Skincare For Senstive Skin

If you have sensitive skin like me, than you know how tough it
can be to find a good skincare line. I have tried brands like
Avon and Mary Kay with no avail. Even the ones that claim to
work for senstive skin have proven to be useless against my
skin. If you are tired of trying new things that don't ever
work, than I have a solution for you. Natural skin products.
Natural skin care products seem to be flooding the market
today, so finding a good one may be tough. But the way I see
it, if all these companies use all natural products than you
should be pretty safe in the line you choose. But be sure that
the products are indeed all natural.
More than likely you use a store brand soap. Did you know that
by definition these soaps, including all the major soap brands,
are actually detergent and not soap. Yikes! And then you wonder
why your skin is so messed up! Oh and by the way, there is also
animal fat in that soap as well.
Soaps, that are not all natural, contain so many chemicals that
they rob our skin of natural oils that we are supposed to have
to maintain healthy skin. For those with dry or sensitive skin
this proves to be a real problem. I admit that my body is
addicted to lotion because I use it on a daily basis. It now
depends on the lotion for mositure.
This can be costly and not to mention annoying if I don't have
lotion on hand. Our skin absorbs about 65% of what we apply to
it. So in turn if we are applying animal fat, detergent and
countless other chemicals that are to hard to pronounce, than
we can assume that those chemicals are absorbed in our skin.
This also includes the shampoors, conditioners, makeup,
perfumes, lotions and other skin care products we use on a
    daily basis.
My point?! If we are going to use these products on a daily
basis, why not use what we know to be safe. Granted, there
isn't a product out there that can suits the entire world's
needs, but natural skincare products are definetly worth giving
    a try.

Acne Rosacea Is For The Youth Of Old Age!

It is said that 50 is the youth of old age! So, beware! You may
confront some of the problems that you encountered as a young
lad! Do not tell the youngster sitting next to you, undergoing
the torment of an acne attack, that it was such a casual
problem for you, when you had it, even though it was not! You
may have a second attack of acne (precisely speaking acne
rosacea) soon! It might have reached the top-most layer of your
    skin!
Conquering acne is an ongoing process. It should be the part of
your daily life, just like brushing the teeth, or going to the
saloon for a hair-cut! Never rest, by thinking that acne is the
thing of the past for you- that stage is gone! So, it’s better
to have a full fledged knowledge of old age acne beforehand.
First things first, what causes acne rosacea? Nothing is
definitely known. But something can be said about it
authoritatively. It is generally believed those who had acne
agony in their youthful time, will in all probability may have
to go through that experience again in their later years. If
you have a family history of rosacea, your troubles are
compounded. It has something to do with your ethnic background
    also.
Next, what could be the indications of the oncoming second
attack of acne? Dry, rough, scaly skin, wrinkling, itching,
loss of elasticity of the skin, premature aging, enlarged
pores, irregular sebaceous gland production, dandruff,
split/peeling nails, poor night-vision, burning and itching
eyes, thickening of cornea, skin slow to heal and grow and many
    others.
Herbal masks could be one of the best anti-acne treatments in
such a condition. The formulations of the herbal masks should
be appropriate to the type of your skin and judging this is not
a big problem. Any dermatologist will assist you in determining
it. There are many types of masks, but basically their action
fall into three categories. They extract dirt from deep in the
skin, preventing or eliminating blackheads and acne. They
nourish by providing vitamins and minerals and rejuvenate by
refining pores, healing scarring, evening out the color tone,
soothing and moisturizing the skin. They can also stimulate the
deepest layer of the skin to make healthy new growth.
Some skins have allergenic reactions. If you have any kind of
skin problem, all soaps should be avoided. Soap destroys the
natural protective mantle of the skin and removes beneficial
bacteria, allowing those that cause odor and infections to
    proliferate.
So, do not worry much about acne rosacea. Come on, you had
already have faced such a situation in life before, though the
nomenclature was different! Therefore, be confident. But not so
confident, to ignore your dermatologist, altogether! Do consult
him, if you have the first symptoms of rosacea, in spite of all
    the precautions that you took!

    Acne and Bodybuilding
Hi Guys, this is the first time i am writing. There's some people who have acne really bad.I myself have some acne on my back and chest. I go to gim and do a lot of heavy weightlifting and I'm wondering if my testosterone levels may have much to do with my acne? I'm not so much inclined to think that weightlifting significantly affects testosterone production in the body, as much as I would say higher levels of testosterone from genetic factors. I am supposing this only through seeing results in the gym, which is the gaining of lots of muscle in very short time, and high aggression when it comes to lifting.
Bottom line: How much does testosterone affect acne?
    any one knows?
I am all natural and only naturall, no steroids/anabolic stuff. I've tried accutane and it seems to work well, but it had some pretty bad side effects in joint with heavy workouts for me. I'm looking to go without bad antibiotics and for more topical treatments.
    Anyone have suggestions?

any advice and help with my acne
I delt with back acne for about two years, and it has improved slightly on its own (once I started washing my hair and then my body). I just really want to know what products I should use to clear it up some. BP isn't really an option for me because of the bleaching. I've been trying Head & Shoulders, and it has helped a little, but I don't know if I want to continue or not.
I tried the Proactiv body wash for about four months and it did absolutely nothing in fact it sucked acne got even worse. Neither did the Neutrogena Body Clear Body Wash (tried the scrub, too...it was better, but still didn't cut it). It just dried my arms out.
When I get it on my back, it feels and looks like a papule, but then a day or two later it looks more like a pustule. So...I'm not sure what to think about it.
    Here's what I currently use:
Earth Therapeutics Oatmeal & Honey Scrub (I use it instead of a loofah or a brush)
    Head & Shoulders Classic Clean
Anything I should add? I don't want something that will just clear the existing ones, I want to ditch it for good (as would anyone else).
