Acne diet

Acne diet is one of other things people try in order to help themselves with acne battle. Is there such thing as acne diet and what foods have negative effect on acne? These are most common questions people ask about the relation between what we eat and acne.

Acne researches, different studies and surveys conducted on finding the real cause of acne show that the main cause of acne is male hormones which start changing in puberty. The hormones control many things in our body and one of them is "work of sebum glands" which produce sebum oil. Excessive production of sebum causes acne.Therefore, the nutrition or diet are not considered to be the main causes of acne.

But do not confuse the beginning of the appearance of acne with further development and transformation from mild acne to sever. Acne, if left untreated, will not stop or go away by itself. It needs effective - everyday treatment with different acne creams. Although it is known that food does not affect the quantity of sebum produced, it is suggested to pay attention and consume proper nutrition.

It is not difficult to find out if and which food causes your acne to worsen. Nobody but you, can find if and which food you can eat. Acne prone skin will or will not react to different foods. If for example you have noticed that fast food you ate had worsen the condition of your acne, try to reduce the consumption of such products or eliminate completely from your diet. This way, you can determine what you can and what you can not eat and set your own acne diet.
